It's playability, age, shadowless border, and instantly recognizable artwork of one of the most infamous Pokmon ever created are what makes this card so expensive

Latias Gold Star and Latios Gold Star: These two cards are also highly prized, particularly in mint condition

Of course, its just a 2/3 for three, which you dont always play
