There are plenty of ways to enjoy this classic while still potentially discovering or encountering something new
The coin
Altar of the Wretched is kinda like Disciple of Bolas, if it was dismantled and reduced to a bony mass
Theyll trigger on each end step, which means that sacrificing a Food on each of your opponents turns nets you an absurd amount of value
There are plenty of other cards to keep an eye out for while building your limited deck, including cards from across all rarities
If youve drawn a card you need to search for, this can be a way to find mana to cast it, but mostly this is a way to sacrifice artifacts you dont want in play anymore, such as a Torpor Orb when youve drawn Dockside, or, my personal favorite use, this can sacrifice Spine of Ish Sah to use it again, or, better yet, sacrifice a Sculpting Steel thats copying a Spine of Ish Sah to get the Sculpting Steel back, which allows you to destroy multiple permanents much more cheaply
